Kentucky veteran explains why teams need to be careful against the Wildcats

Kentucky has too many good scorers to stop everyone.

One thing that makes this Kentucky basketball team so dangerous is how many players can score 20 or more points on any given night.

The Wildcats have seven players who could score 20 points, and it wouldn't come as much of a surprise. This helps Kentucky because if one player doesn't have his best game, another will score 20+ to help the Wildcats put up a ton of points on the board.

Adou Thiero was asked what Justin Edwards turning into a serious scoring threat does for this team. He responded, "That's another person a team's got to worry about that's capable of going off for 30. It's self-explanatory right there. We got a lot of weapons and teams got to be careful who they pick to guard because you're not going to be able to guard everybody."

Thiero did a perfect job of explaining why this team is getting hot at the right time. If Edwards, Rob Dillingham, Reed Sheppard, Antonio Reeves, DJ Wagner, and Zvonimir Ivisic are all getting involved and scoring the basketball, how do you stop that? There isn't anyone on this team you can leave open because everyone, except for Ugonna Onyenso, on the whole roster can make threes.

The Wildcats are impossible to defend, which is why a little bit of defense can carry this team to an SEC Championship and Final Four run.

With Wagner and Edwards heating up, this team has five players on the floor at all times who can score the basketball. Watch out for the Wildcats in the postseason.
