Kentucky suffers most significant loss of the offseason as another seven-footer hit the portal

Kentucky just lost another player to the transfer portal.

Kentucky's offseason has been full of players hitting the transfer portal and declaring for the NBA Draft, as you often see in the new world of college basketball when a coach moves on.

Kentucky has already lost Adou Thiero, Aaron Bradshaw, and Joey Hart to the transfer portal, but the Wildcats just suffered their most significant portal loss of the offseason as Zvonimir Ivisic entered his name.

The style of offense new Kentucky coach Mark Pope runs relies on a big man who can pass and shoot, which is what Ivisic brings to the table. We didn't get to see an entire season of Big Z, as Big Blue Nation, called him, thanks to the NCAA not deeming him eligible for over half the season.

Ivisic made his debut against the Georiga Bulldogs last season, where he went 5-7 from the field, scoring 13 points while making three of his four shots from deep. Ivisic also padded the stat sheet with five rebounds, two assists, three blocks, and two steals.

Ivisic follows the Arkansas basketball team on Instagram, so you have to assume that he will follow Coach Calipari to Fayetteville.

Ivisic never got into a rhythm last season and didn't get all of the off-season lifting that some of the other players got. If he adds a few more pounds of muscle and gets more physical with his ability to effect shots around the rim and shoot, he will be a surefire first-round pick in the NBA Draft.

Big Z was a fan favorite in Lexington, and he will be missed by Big Blue Nation.
