Me'Arah O'Neal, Daughter of LSU Legend Shaquille O'Neal, Takes Visit To LSU

O'Neal has seen her recruitment blossom over the last few months, taking a visit to Baton Rouge to see Kim Mulkey.
In this story:

Kim Mulkey and her LSU Tigers have been on a recruiting rampage ever since she took over the program. With a stacked 2023 class that features the No. 1 player in the country, Mikaylah Williams, business is booming in this area, but Mulkey’s staff is building for the long haul.

Over the weekend, the Tigers received a surprise visit from an LSU legacy: Me’Arah O’Neal.

Yes, the daughter of LSU legend Shaquille O’Neal.

A 2024 prospect, her recruiting has taken off as of late, and getting down to Baton Rouge was clearly of the utmost importance.

Accompanying her on the trip? The one and only Shaq, of course. It’s been a social media filled Saturday with [Me’Arah] O’Neal hopping in Tiktoks with LSU star Angel Reese and even being posted on LSU guard Kateri Poole’s Instagram, but Reese has certainly been having the most fun with it.

Reese posted an Instagram story of Me’Arah with the caption, “Do I stay an extra year???”

For O’Neal, she’s beginning to hit her stride on the floor. Just 16 years old, and clearly given significant size thanks to Shaq being her father, she’s putting it all together.

Clearly the O’Neal family knows their way around Baton Rouge. With Shaquille taking the country by storm during his time at LSU, his son Shareef becoming a Tiger after transferring and now Me’Arah taking a visit to campus, there are obviously significant ties.

Here’s a look into the visit and what’s being posted to social media:
