It's South Florida! One just never knows which NFL players will show up. Yesterday, a prominent NFL figure was at the University of Miami to train with his Cleveland Browns teammates.

Quarterback Deshaun Watson, of course, played at Clemson and helped the Tigers win the 2016 national title. He was the 12th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft and has become one of the more well known figures in pro football.

It's going to be interesting to see how Watson bounces back in 2023 after playing in just seven games due to NFL suspension last season. He completed 58.2% of his passes last year, after hitting at least 61.8% of his passes from 2017 through 2020 (he did not play in 2021 while dealing with a court case).

Watson threw for 1,102 yards, 7 touchdowns and 5 interceptions last season. Those were pedestrian numbers compared to how he was a dominant force with the Houston Texans prior to coming to Cleveland.

For his NFL career, Watson has thrown 111 touchdowns and 41 interceptions. He's just 27 years old and will not turn 28 until Sep. 14. There's a long way to go with Watson's career and this season could be pivotal in determining what direction he goes with the Browns and the NFL overall.
