The Cam Ward era at Miami has begun

The Miami Hurricanes just kicked off spring football 2024. 

Standout Washington State transfer quarterback Cam Ward took the field for the first time officially as a Miami Hurricane. Ward, wearing the coveted jersey number one, looked consistently sharp, especially when he hit deep balls to Xavier Restrepo and Jacolby George during 7 on 7 drills. 

Brian Smith and I watched the practice live inside Miami's indoor facility. While we could only watch the first 45 minutes, we got a great look at Ward and other Hurricanes offensive standouts.
