Miami Central Safety Amari Wallace Is A Recruit To Watch

Four-star defensive back with ball-hawking skills

2025 defensive back Amari Wallace is one to watch. The four-star talent from the Sunshine State holds offers from the best of the best including Alabama, LSU, Texas, USC, Miami, and many more.

From watching his film, the junior prospect not only keeps an eye on the receiver but he rarely loses sight of the quarterback. From the first two plays of his junior season highlights, Wallace read the quarterback and was in the right position at the right time to make a play on the football.

His instincts helped him make those plays, along with being well-coached at Miami (Fla.) Central. Wallace is also a thumper. When he goes for the tackle, he is coming full-speed ahead and he is coming with violent intentions.

During one of his junior season plays, a short pass to the open receiver, the standout 5-foot-11 and 170-pound safety shortened the field fast and threw the would-be receiver out of bounds.

Just by the eye test alone from his film, you see why not only the Miami coaching staff wants him there, but why some of the best programs in the nation are after this stud defensive back. Wallace reacts like a cat chasing a mouse, doesn't flinch, and plays with a motor that doesn't stop.

Lastly, Wallace playing in the Miami Public League, he is accustomed to being in big-time matchups. That fact is going to help him make the transition to the Power 4 level.

Here are Wallace's junior highlights.
