Miami's tremendous recruiting haul continues as top-notch linebacker Adarius Hayes switches his commitment from the Florida Gators to the Hurricanes.

It's a continuing windfall for the Canes, as it's on pace to push for a top-five recruiting class.

A life-long Gators fan, Hayes originally made his pledge to Billy Napier and Florida on Jan. 28, 2023. That did not stop Mario Cristobal and his coaching staff from continuing to pursue the 6-foot-4 and 225-pound linebacker. An unofficial visit earlier this year and then an official visit (Dec. 15) sealed the deal for the Canes.

Hayes is a true thumper as a linebacker, and his frame is continuing to fill out. He could end up being a bigger linebacker or place his hand in the dirt and become a defensive end.

From Largo (Fla.) High School, Hayes is the #69 player in the 247Sports composite rankings.
