Michigan has been one of the better schools the past couple of seasons at adding important depth via the transfer portal. Just about every player the Wolverines added this past cycle became a contributor.

On Thursday, the Wolverines added their second player from the transfer portal for the 2024 season.

Northwestern offensive lineman Josh Priebe announced he would be transferring to Ann Arbor for the '24 campaign.

Priebe, a Niles, Michigan native, has been with Northwestern since 2020 and appeared in 36 games for the Wildcats. He will have one season of eligibility left and will spend it in Ann Arbor.

He is listed at 6-foot-5, 310 pounds, and will add great size and experience to the Michigan offensive line. The Wolverines are expected to lose Trevor Keegan, Drake Nugent, and Zak Zinter after this season. Michigan could also lose players like LaDarius Henderson, Karsen Barnhart, and Myles Hinton as well.

Priebe started every game for the Wildcats this year at LG. According to PFF, he allowed four sacks this season. His play earned him All-Big Ten honors.

Michigan had already added Maryland linebacker Jaishawn Barham.
