Michigan Football Sports Illustrated Cover

The Wolverines' championship cover features Blake Corum dashing across the goal line as he did 28 times in 2023 as Michigan completed a perfect 15-0 season. The senior running back was as consistent as any player in the country over the last three seasons.

"When we needed a play, someone made it, whether it had been myself or whether it had been Will [Johnson] or J.J. [McCarthy] or Donovan [Edwards], Colston [Loveland]," Corum listed. "I could keep going on just because so many guys made plays. But when the play needs to be made, playmakers make them. And we have a lot of them."

Now, it's all about looking ahead. Corum is off to the NFL, but what about McCarthy? And Jim Harbaugh, for that matter? Throw in Michigan's daunting 2024 schedule, which features matchups against Texas, USC, Washington, Oregon and Ohio State to name a few, and things could look very different next fall, But for now, the Wolverines are kings of the college football world and Michigan fans all over the world are on cloud nine. Save that feeling forever with the commemorative issue from SI.
