Michigan Football Commit Honored During NFL Game

There are definitely some perks that come along with being named the top high school football player in the state of Ohio.

He's one of the biggest pieces of Michigan's 2024 class, and he was recently named the best player in the state of Ohio. Earlier this week, it was announced that running back Jordan Marshall, a four-star prospect and future Wolverine, was named 2023 Ohio Mr. Football - an annual award given to the top high school football player in the state of Ohio.

Just days after accepting the award (and receiving a facetime call from Michigan Football legend Charles Woodson), Marshall was honored during the third quarter of the Cincinnati Bengals game on Sunday.

Much like Woodson, Marshall - the top player in the state of Ohio - opted to take his talents to Ann Arbor by committing to the Wolverines back in March.

The Ohio 'Mr. Football' award has been around since 1987, and there has certainly been some notable winners over the last 35 years. Guys like Charles Woodson, Maurice Clarett, Joe Burrow, and Mitch Trubisky have all claimed the coveted award as high school athletes.
