Michigan State PG Cassius Winston Talks Kentucky Wildcats & More!

#1 Michigan State Spartan PG Cassius Winston Talks #2 Kentucky Wildcats & More!

Breslin Student Events Center

East Lansing, MI

The #1 team in America happens to reside in the Big Ten. They also happen to reside in the state of Michigan. No, not in Ypsilanti, Mt. Pleasant, Kalamazoo or Ann Arbor. Instead, they’re right here in East Lansing and of course, we are talking about the Michigan State Spartans and their Hall of Fame head coach Tom Izzo.

The Spartans kick off the season on October 9, in an exhibition contest against Albion and the season officially kicks off November 5 at 9:30 PM in New York. The Spartans will be taking on the Kentucky Wildcats in the Champions Classic. No doubt that the nation’s attention is already looking at the critical first game of the year heavyweight fight.

Cassius Winston is the pre-season player of the year in college basketball, but don't tell him that.  Raised in an amazing family that carries more pride for his academic prowess than that on the hardcourt, he is grounded.  Winston talked with us about what players are making an impact, his tutelage of Mark "ROCKET" Watts and of course looking ahead to the game with the Wildcats.
