The #1 team in America is your Michigan State Spartans. They rolled into Gotham last night, led by their Hall of Fame head coach ready to take on the #2 Kentucky Wildcats here at the legendary Madison Square Garden tonight.
No doubt that the nation’s attention is already looking at the critical first game of the year in what should be a true heavyweight fight. It is matchups like this that make this Champions Classic the greatest part of the college basketball season outside of the Big Dance.

In-game one of the Champions Classic, the #3 Kansas Jayhawks overcame 18 first half careless turnovers in order to take down #4 Duke Blue Devils 68-66. For the game, Kansas had 28 turnovers.
The Blue Devils will be in East Lansing to take on the Spartans on Tuesday, December 3rd in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. That game can be seen on ESPN and it tips off at 9:30 PM
