MSU head basketball coach has repeated many times this season that he can’t use the moniker of must win with this team because it may lose it’s intensity and I agree with him. That said, it is not an understatement today. MSU has to win this game. Iowa is less then stellar and the Spartans have to get to 20 wins in the regular season to make the dance in my opinion.

Today is a great opportunity to make it happen. The crowds at the Breslin have been awesome and the team finally has some momentum after plummeting archrival UM earlier in the week.

Look for the Spartans, even with less then stellar depth to push the ball and frustrate the Hawkeyes in this one. MSU will do what they couldn’t do earlier in the year at Iowa and force the tempo, something that the Hawks have not responded well to all season.

This game is huge and a win, will take some of the do or die pressure off this team as it looks ahead to a huge game at the Breslin this upcoming week with the hated Bo Ryan and the Badgers.
