The #6 Michigan State Spartans came to Maryland to take on the Terrapins today, a place that MSU had never won at since they joined the Big Ten. What resulted was a 13 point halftime deficit and a rally from the Hall of Fame head coach led Spartans for a 74-68 Michigan State win.

It was an impressive win for the men in green. With an emotional crowd willing their Terps early, Michigan State kept grinding and fighting. On the day MSU was 19 of 23 from the free throw line. They won the battle of the boards 46-29 including 19 offensive rebounds.

Joshua Langford led the way for the Spartans with 19. Cassius Winston had 13 points and Jaren Jackson, Jr. (3J) had 12 points and eight rebounds. Miles Bridges rounded out the scorers in double digits. He had 11 and nine rebounds.

The Spartans improved to 20-3 (8-2) on the season. They return to action on Wednesday at 6:30 PM at the friendly confines of the Breslin Center. They will play host to the Penn State Nittany Lions. That game can be seen on BTN.
