Tom, Steven Izzo Share Emotional Moment After MSU's 'Senior Day' Win

After the Spartans gritted out a tough win over Northwestern, head coach Tom Izzo was able to take in the moment with his son, Steven, on 'Senior Day'...

Michigan State needed a win in the worst kind of way, and the Spartans found a way to get the job done in a tough, gritty, old-fashioned Big Ten slugfest against Northwestern on Wednesday night, 53-49.

Immediately following the game, head coach Tom Izzo and the MSU faithful turned their attention to the Spartans seniors who had just played their final games at the Breslin Center. Those included graduates Tyson Walker and Malik Hall, as well as four-year seniors A.J. Hoggard, Mady Sissoko, Davis Smith and Steven Izzo.
