Tom Izzo & Michigan State Basketball Drops to #4 With Loss To OSU

While the Michigan State Spartans didn’t hold on to the number one ranking for very long, it didn’t make much of an impact. Head Coach Tom Izzo admitted they got it that it was an “Honor” but that, “There are several teams worthy of it.”

After getting blown out at Ohio State yesterday the Spartans saw their ranking drop only a three spots to number four. A very respectable number and it leaves no doubt that the Spartans are still a top contender for the national title.

Spartan Nation will be at Michigan State basketball practice today and will have the video of Tom Izzo reaction to number four then.
