As 1st Reported by Spartan Nation on May 7th, Michigan State Confirms WR Kyle Kerrick WILL NOT RETURN to MSU

Spartan Nation first reported that we did not expect Kerrick to return on May 7, 2013. 

Today MSU confirmed it by sending out this statement:Â "Michigan State red-shirt freshman wide receiver Kyle Kerrick (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville Area High School) has requested and been granted a release from his scholarship."

Spartan Nation expects no further word on the matter.
