East Lansing--

In an exhaustive and complete conversation with Spartan Nation Radio that will air on Thursday night, I asked MSU Head Coach Mark Dantonio earlier today if RB Delton Williams would be eligible to play in the Spartans first game of the year or if he would face even further punishment for an off season legal issue.

Dantonio emphatically said, “Yes.” Now it is up to Williams. Dantonio said, “Yes. It will all be about his play on the football field. I feel he has paid his dues. I expected him to be back a little earlier than he was, due to university regulations et cetera he was held out for a longer period of time. So he missed all of summer conditioning as well as spring practice. I feel like we need to move on. We need to allow him get back with his life. Everything moving forward should be about his future not the past.”

I totally agree with Dantonio. You can listen to his entire interview on Spartan Nation Radio tomorrow night at 6:05 PM by listening on one of our affiliates or BY CLICKING HERE and listening via any electronic device.
