Great Day For Michigan State Football Just Got Better: LB Ed Davis Given 6th Year of Eligibility by NCAA!

On a day that MSU saw their top recruiting target for 2018 commit in Xavier Henderson, Mark Dantonio and the Spartans got even better news. OLB Ed Davis who had applied for a 6th year medical redshirt from the NCAA finally heard his fate. Dantonio announced it via Twitter

Davis is loved by his teammates and this news traveled across Spartan football with joyous celebration for their teammate.

Dantonio had said earlier this week he had, "Hope to hear this week" and he did. Congratulations to Ed.
