BREAKING NEWS: Michigan State Lands Another Big Time Player for the 2009 Class: DE Denzel Drone From Plant City Florida

The Michigan State Spartans have added another commitment to the 2009 recruiting class. This time they head to Florida and secure the services of a big, strong and fast DE. Drone originally committed to Western Kentucky, but an incredible senior season and more importantly some impressive combine type workouts moved him to the forefront of the Spartans agenda, which was adding DL players.

Now here is some more news that may come as a shock to some members of the Spartan Nation. Even WITH Drone committed, the Spartans have two scholarships left to add to the 2009 class IF the right people accept offers.Â

SpartanNation.com has written extensively about three of them that are left on the radar with Craig Drummond, Jairus Jones, and Clinton Simpkins. Two of those three (Drummond and Jones) already have offers and one (Simpkins) is visiting soon, but as of yet has not been offered. Drummond will be visiting East Lansing as of now early next week.

As alwaysstay tuned to SpartanNation.com for the latest on Spartan Football Recruiting and don’t forget to watch for Spartan Nation tonight when it comes up later tonight as Dallas Smith and I discuss recruiting and other Spartan subjects.Â
