Michigan State head coach Mel Tucker was one of the first Big Ten coaches to speak at the conference's media days at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Wednesday.

Tucker discussed a variety of topics including quarterback Noah Kim, how he and his staff have worked to prevent player injuries heading into the 2023 season, and what gives him confidence that the Spartans' defense will improve this fall.

Tucker also discussed new Colorado coach Deion Sanders taking over the program in Boulder, the hazing allegations at Northwestern, how Michigan State has approached name, image and likeness and several other topics. Tucker's full question and answer session at the podium can be viewed below.
