Avery's wife mixing it up!

Cassandra Johnson, the wife of Dallas Maverick’s head coach Avery Johnson, has been accused by a Phoenix Suns fan for assault during game four of the Western Conference Finals.

  

Rebecca Kettle told police that she was involved in a verbal confrontation with the wife of the Dallas head coach when Johnson struck her twice in the shoulder. The conflict arose when Kettle and her boyfriend continued to stand in the arena for game four, blocking the view of Johnson’s children.

  

Mavericks owner Mark Cuban immediately tried to calm both parties down.

  

Johnson denied making any physical contact with the fan. The incident will likely be decided by the city prosecutor.

  

Kettle and her boyfriend were both ejected from the game. Reports indicate that Kettle was unaware that Johnson was the wife of Dallas’ coach.
