Sources Close to Marinelli Confirm, "They Fired him."

Sources close to former Lions Head Coach Rod Marinelli confirmed to me this morning that he was fired. Marinelli is respected around the league as an excellent football coach, but had little success in Detroit.

 

Incredibly, within the organization there are people who not only didn't contribute, but in some cases hindered him that are still employed.
