Tigers not telling the whole story with Abreu situation.

Jim Leyland came out today after the Philly Daily News and the Free Press told you what we reported first over a week ago here on Spartan Nation and the news:Â "We are not getting Bobby Abreu nor are we pursuing him. End of the conversation" is what Leyland said before the game.

That is true...now!  When I first reported this it was accurate that they had looked at Abreu, but the issue is that Abreu wanted his big money option extended and the Phillies wanted a "sh** load" in return accoridng to my source. So, Leyland is telling the truth, but so was my original story that others just reported, over a week late!
