Spartan Athletes Take Time to Celebrate Christmas and Give Back!

If you are like me and sick of hearing about the suspensions, dismissals and the Rather Hall incident, then you will be proud of what happened today at the Clara Bell Smith Center.

Ross Weaver and Ashton Henderson are the TRUE representatives of Spartan Football!

 

Spartan athletes from all teams were given names of a family to adopt and they went out and raised money for them. Then, they took their own time to go purchase presents for that family.

 

Today, they all gathered, male and female, to wrap them. There was a festive air as so many of those that do it right gathered to celebrate this wonderful holiday that we call Christmas.

 

To all of you, we know that you are truly the representation of what a Spartan athlete is. We thank you and honor you for taking the time to give back and represent the Spartan Nation. Merry Christmas to you and to all whose lives you will touch. You are great Spartans.
