Oregon State Baseball: Travis Bazzana Grabs Fourth All-America Honor of 2024

Baseball America named Oregon State Beavers' second baseman Travis Bazzana as a first-team All-American on Friday, bringing him to four first-team selections this season.

The American Baseball Coaches Association, National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association, and Perfect Game previously named the Australian import to their respective first-teams for his performance this season.

The Pac-12 Player of the Year hit 28 home runs and 66 RBIs this season with a batting average of .407 this season.

2024 marks the third season in a row that Baseball America has bestowed All-American honors upon Bazzana. He was a third-team selection in 2023 and was a freshman All-American in 2022.

Bazzana is also currently a finalist for the Golden Spikes Award, largely considered the highest individual award in college baseball. The winner of that award will be announced on Saturday night ahead of the College World Series finals.

He is considered by some major outlets to be the likely #1 pick in the upcoming MLB Draft.
