WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue is coming off of their best performance of the season, a 40-14 victory over Maryland last weekend. They will look to win their second Big Ten game of the season when they travel to No. 23 Iowa on Saturday for a Noon ET kickoff.

Purdue is 2-4 on the season and 1-2 in the Big Ten after beating Maryland 40-14 in West Lafayette last Sunday. It was the best win of the season to date for the Boilermakers. Redshirt freshman Jack Plummer had a huge day, scorching the struggling Maryland secondary for 420 yards.

It was an encouraging sign to see the Purdue offense finally get rolling. There are a lot of freshmen who are really stepping up in a big way for the Boilermakers, especially Plummer and true freshman David Bell, who is turning into his favorite target.

Iowa is 4-2 on the season and just 1-2 in the Big Ten after consecutive losses to Michigan and Penn State. The Hawkeyes struggled offensively in the past two games, losing 10-3 to the Wolverines and 17-12 to the Nittany Lions.
