Dawn Staley Gifted Special Jordan Sneakers From Travis Scott
There's no question that Dawn Staley is a transcendent person, not just in terms of the on-court success she's had at South Carolina but also how she's viewed across all walks of life. People who aren't directly involved with basketball know who the Philadelphia native is, and sometimes, that can lead to some special perks. That played out on Friday afternoon when Dawn ran into hip-hop artist Travis Scott, who gifted the three-time national championship-winning coach with a pair of Jordan Jumpman Jack "Sail" sneakers. The sneakers are estimated to cost anywhere from a few hundred to a couple thousand dollars, depending on where you look. Staley has been living her best life over the past few days, hanging out with Gamecock legend A'ja Wilson, meeting Tennis legend Serena Williams, and attending multiple UEFA Champions League soccer matches.
The championship parade for South Carolina's women's basketball team is set to take place on Sunday at 2 PM EDT.
