Recruitment Recap: KingJoseph Edwards was one of the most sought after edge prospects in the southeast. He has offers from just about all of the power programs. Shortly after Syracuse hired Fran Brown, Edwards announced a top three of Colorado, Florida State and Syracuse. After officially visiting the Orange, SU seemed to be in the driver's seat. He then officially announced his commitment on the 19th.

Evaluation: The term "twitchy" is thrown around a lot when describing defensive lineman. Edwards, though, fits that bill to a T. He is long, athletic, has great get-off at the snap of the ball. With his frame, he can add weight without losing that burst. He could be a defensive end or outside linebacker at the next level, but projects as someone who will excel rushing the passer. Look for him to work on his pass rushing move arsenal when he arrives next month.
