Jaylen Pile Recaps Tennessee Junior Day Visit
There were many talented prospects from many different classes on campus for the Tennessee Junior Day event. One of the newer names on campus was Parish Episcopal School wide receiver Jaylen Pile, who has amassed offers from Duke, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee, Utah, and more thus far in his recruitment.
"My visit was great. I got a deeper look at what the school and football program are all about. Family and development were the areas they stressed to me." He was then asked which coaches he spoke to, and he responded, "I spoke with Coach [Kelsey] Pope, Coach Cook, and Coach Walton the most. We talked about my season and my plans for the spring. They were excited that I was back on campus."
When asked how he felt about the atmosphere, the talented wide receiver responded, "The atmosphere was cool. Everything was top-notch from the check-in all the way through the presentations." He also believes that many things make Tennessee special. Pile goes on to say, "The people. Coach [Josh] Heupel was cool, and I could see why the on-field staff he's assembled has been successful. The off-field staff was just as impressive and left a good impression on me."
In his final statement, he was asked about Tennessee and its position in his recruitment. Pile responded, "There is a long way to go before a decision will be made, but I would consider Tennessee a top school at this point."
