STORRS, Conn. – Join us during the evening of Thursday, April 21 for the 2022 UConn Football Blue/White Showcase on campus at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium. First billed as the Blue/White Game, the team has decided to shift its approach and treat the evening as another opportunity to practice, with an eye on engaging with fans in attendance as much as possible.

Gates to Morrone Stadium will open at 5 p.m. and concessions will be available at that time, along with giveaways, and attractions from the National Guard, Eversource and Dunkin'. Additionally, the first 1,500 students in attendance will receive a free UConn Football t-shirt.

The event is free of charge, but claiming a ticket is a requirement to attend. General public and student-specific claim links can be found above.

The festivities will begin at 5 p.m. with a live performance by the band Capital View on the north side of Morrone Stadium, near the Mark R. Shenkman Training Facility. The practice is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.

Randy Brochu and everyone's favorite in-venue host, Conor Geary, will serve as sideline reporters for the evening and will conduct interviews with players and coaches for fans in attendance.

Head coach Jim Mora will also wear a mic in an effort to engage with the fans in attendance whenever possible.

Fans interested in attending should plan on parking in the South Garage, which will employ a special rate of $5 that evening. Jim Calhoun Way will be closed from Hillside Road to the entrance of South Garage, similar to basketball gamedays, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Jim Calhoun Way will be closed from the Hilltop Rear Gate, near Separatist Drive, to Alumni Drive, from 4:30 p.m. until the end of the event.

The best way to enter the South Garage is by accessing Jim Calhoun Way via Alumni Drive.
