After an impressive second stint in the NBA Summer League, former UNC basketball standout Brady Manek is going back overseas.

Manek signed a 1+1 contract with BC Zalgiris Kaunas in Lithuania Friday, per Donatas Urbonas, a senior staff writer for BasketNews. He'll have a player option in his second year.

The sharpshooter appeared in four games for the Atlanta Hawks in the 2023 NBA Summer League, averaging 12.8 points and 4.5 rebounds per contest.

Manek's best game came in a loss to the Kings in which he scored 17 points with the help of five made threes.

Manek is no stranger to playing overseas. He spent the 2022-23 season with the Perth Wildcats in Australia where he was a significant contributor.

He was the team's best three-point shooter, shooting a team-high 40.7 percent from beyond the arc. Manek scored over 20 points in eight of the 30 games he appeared in.

With two years of NBA Summer league and a year of pro experience under his belt, how will Manek perform in Lithuania?
