North Carolina will look to keep its recruiting momentum rolling on Monday morning as four-star guard R.J. Davis announces his commitment.

A 5-11, 165-pound combo guard from White Plains, N.Y., Davis comes in at No. 52 in the 247 Sports composite rankings and will decide between finalists Carolina, Georgetown, Marquette and Pittsburgh.

Watch as he announces his decision at 9 a.m., live on the Facebook page of Lohud Sports.

With Carolina assistant Hubert Davis leading his recruitment, Davis made an official visit to Chapel Hill for the weekend of Oct. 12. Previously, he visited Marquette and Pittsburgh in September after taking a trip to Georgetown in June.

Davis averaged 20.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists last summer while playing 18 games for the New York Rens in the Nike EYBL. Overall, he shot 45.1 percent from the field, including 37 of 87 (42.5 percent) from 3-point range.

Coach Roy Williams and Davis traveled to New York last month to observe Davis during an open gym at Archbishop Stepinac High School.

His commitment would add to what's shaping up to be a stellar class for the Tar Heels, who have commitments from three five-star players in Walker Kessler (No. 15), Day'Ron Sharpe (No. 17) and Caleb Love (No. 21).

Carolina's class currently ranks third nationally, trailing Duke and Kentucky and ahead of No. 4 Virginia.

The Tar Heels also remains players for top-10 recruits Cade Cunningham, Greg Brown and Ziaire Williams — all of which visited last month for Late Night With Roy.
