Prior to Monday night, North Carolina knew their opponents and locations for the 2023 season, but they were unsure of the schedule's order.

The ACC announced the football schedule for all 14 teams and began the look ahead to the first season without divisions.

Duke, NC State, and Virginia are the Tar Heels' permanent opponents in the new 3-3-5 model.

North Carolina will begin their campaign in Charlotte on Sept. 2nd against South Carolina before returning to Chapel Hill to host App. State on Sept. 9th and Minnesota on Sept. 16th.

ACC play will begin at Pitt the following week before the Tar Heels enter their bye week on Sept. 30th.

They will end the season hosting Duke before traveling to Clemson and N.C. State in the campaign's final two weeks.

Sept. 2nd - South Carolina (Charlotte)

Sept. 9th - vs. Appalachian State

Sept. 16th- vs. Minnesota

Sept. 23rd - @ Pittsburgh

Sept. 30th - BYE

Oct. 7th - vs. Syracuse

Oct. 14th - vs. Miami

Oct. 21st - vs. Virginia

Oct. 28th - @ Georgia Tech

Nov. 4th - vs. Campbell

Nov. 11th - vs. Duke

Nov. 18th - @ Clemson

Nov. 25th - @ NC State
