Carolina Convo: what are realistic expectations for this football season?

Brant Wilkerson-New

National publications aren't particularly bullish on the Heels' chances this season, and that's understandable after a 5-18 mark with just two ACC victories over the past two seasons.

Still, the cupboard isn't bare for Mack Brown's first season back and playing in the Coastal Division means anyone has a chance.

What's the bare minimum for an acceptable season and what would turn this into a great season? Is there a must-win game on the schedule?

5 wins would be a success in Mack’s first year back at the helm. Poor recruiting classes the past couple years means we don’t have the depth to truly compete. We’ll win a game or two that we shouldn’t though. Won’t take long for Mack to get the right players in there, so the future is bright!

Not sure I have a minimum. I expect 3-5 wins but I also will give Coach Brown time to turn this thing around. Recruiting is going well and as long as he can keep the locker room attitude positive I am in full support.
