2023 WVU Football Schedule Released

The 2023 West Virginia University football schedule revealed

On Tuesday, The West Virginia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, in conjunction with the Big 12 Conference, announced the 2023 football schedule.

West Virginia opens the season September 2nd at Penn State before the home opener the following Saturday versus Duquesne on the ninth and rounding on the nonconference slate with the Backyard Brawl against Pitt on the 16th. 

West Virginia will begin Big 12 play at Mountaineer Field on Sept. 23 vs. Texas Tech. 

The Mountaineers will meet all four new Big 12 members with a Thursday night matchup at Houston first on the docket. Then, at UCF Oct. 28 before hosting BYU the next week on Oct. 28 followed by Cincinatti on Nov. 18.
