Oklahoma Depth Chart and Team Leaders

The Oklahoma Sooners come into the weekend with a one of the top offenses in the country

The West Virginia Mountaineers (6-3, 4-2) are on the road to take on the Oklahoma Sooners (7-2, 4-2) Saturday night, with kickoff set for 7:00 p.m. EST and broadcasting on FOX.

The Sooners have dropped back-to-back road games to Kansas and Oklahoma State, respectively, after a 7-0 start.

The offense ranks seventh in the country in total yards, averaging 490 yards per game, and eighth in scoring at 39.9 points per game.

In his second season in Oklahoma, senior Dillon Gabriel leads the Big 12 Conference in passing yards per game (294.0), touchdowns (20), and efficiency (167.6). Gabriel is third on the team in rushing with 287 yards, averaging 4.0 yards per carry, with a team-high eight touchdowns.

Junior Jalil Farooq leads the team in receiving yards with 547 yards on 33 receptions to go with two touchdowns and senior Drake Stoops has hauled in a team-leading 52 receptions and his 528 receiving yards is second on the team. Stoops is coming off career-highs 12 receptions for 134 yards.

Nic Anderson is leading the team in receiving touchdowns with eight. The freshman has 20 receptions for 497 yards on the year.

The Sooners have relied primarily on three running backs this season. Junior Tawee Walker leads the team with 444 yards and six touchdowns.

Senior Marcus Major is second on the team in rushing with 308 yards, which leads the team heading following the win over UCF but has been sidelined with an injury the last two games and remains questionable heading into Saturday.

Gavin Sawchuk led the Sooners in rushing last week with 111 and a touchdown. The freshman is fourth on the team with 238 rushing yards and four touchdowns.

WILL linebacker Danny Stutsman leads the team in tackles with 73, ranking third in league, is second in the Big 12 in tackles for a loss with 11.5, along with two sacks. The junior was out in the loss to Oklahoma State and questionable versus West Virginia.

Junior strong safety Billy Bowman is tied with West Virginia’s Beanie Bishop for second in the conference in interceptions with four.

Junior defensive end Ethan Downs has accumulated a team-best 4.5 sacks on the year.
