SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Malachi Ruffin
Ahead of Saturday's Senior Day festivities, take a look back at the career of DB Malachi Ruffin.
Malachi Ruffin (Nashville, N.C.) joined the Mountaineer football team as a true freshman in 2018. His contribution began in 2020, when he saw action in 10 games and added depth at cornerback and special teams. He's seen time in 30 games since then, compiling 35 tackles (24 solo), and has made the largest impact in 2022.
In 2022, he's recorded 21 tackles (13 solo), and a fumble recovery and interception against TCU.

- Finished with 10 tackles, including eight unassisted tackles

- Saw action on 75 snaps for the season, including 65 on special teams
- Used on a season-high 15 special teams plays at Texas
- Registered four tackles, including three solo stops
