SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Wil Schoonover

Ahead of Saturday's Senior Day festivities, take a look back at the career of LB Wil Schoonover.

Wil Schoonover (Moorefield, W.Va.) served in the United States Army from 2017-20 before deciding to pursue college football. After transferring in from Potomac State in fall 2021, Schoonover walked onto both the WVU football and baseball teams.

He saw time at catcher, hitting .350 during spring ball, but opted to parse his athletic endeavors down to football in 2022.

He hasn't seen game action for WVU, but works with the defense as a play-calling liaison in-game.
