Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Josh Sills was recently indicted on rape and kidnapping charges stemming from a situation that occurred back in 2019, according to a police report obtained by TMZ.

“The organization is aware of the legal matter involving Josh Sills,” the Eagles said in a statement. “We have been in communication with the league office and are in the process of gathering more information. We have no further comment at this time.”

Sills, now in his rookie season with the Eagles, has been placed on the NFL's Exempt List. He has not been on the team's active roster, but this ensures that he will not be a part of the team's practices leading up to the Super Bowl matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Sills played at West Virginia from 2016-19 before transferring to Oklahoma State, where he played the final two years of his career.

He is expected to appear in court on February 16th.
