WATCH: Jevon Carter Buries Deep Three
Phoenix Suns guard and former West Virginia men's basketball star Jevon Carter drilled a three early as the shot clock expired late in the first quarter.
The Suns were leading by eight when off an inbounds pass underneath their basket, the ball was tossed to forward Frank Kaminsky, and he quickly handed the ball off to Jevon Carter, who took one dribble, stepped right, and buried a deep three over, former TCU guard standout, Kenrich Williams as the shot clock expired to put the Suns up 11.
Carter finished the game with six points on 2-7 shooting from the field, including 2-5 from three-point range, three assists, three rebounds, steal, and block.
However, the Suns dropped their third straight on Wednesday night and fall to 8-8 on the season. Phoenix hosts the Golden State Warriors Thursday at 10:00 pm EST.
