Georgia Kicker Receives Walk-On Opportunity from WVU

After a successful visit to Morgantown this past week, Bremen (GA) 2020 kicker Evan Fuller received an opportunity as a walk-on to become a Mountaineer.

"It's a great opportunity with a great program," Fuller said.

Though this is first time the 6-foot, 205-pound specialist has been on campus, Fuller already has a special connection with West Virginia's unofficial fight song.

"Yeah, it's amazing," Fuller commented on the tradition of singing 'Country Roads' after a win. "It's actually special to me because I listen to it before every game while I'm walking the field and I sing it in my head before a big kick or punt. I personally think it's the best tradition in college football."

Fuller also stated that he "wants to be somewhere that the community and state absolutely revolves around the football program and are totally sold on it."

The 2020 specialist "absolutely" plans on more visits to Morgantown in the future.
