CoD MW3 released the first trailer for the campaign, early access and open beta dates.

After hearing months of leaks and speculations, fans have been presented with their glance into the game's campaign. The trailer unveils a riveting storyline set to launch on November 10. The unveiling took center stage at Gamescom, with Shelby Carleton from Sledgehammer Games joining Geoff Keighley to introduce the campaign reveal trailer and shed light on a groundbreaking feature: Open Combat Missions.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Campaign: Open Combat Missions

This innovative campaign mechanic empowers players to navigate the narrative in a multitude of ways, aligning with their personal preferences. Open Combat Missions allow players to have the freedom to approach challenges in various manners. Whether players enjoy stealth missions or going in guns blazing, this allows them to choose how they want to approach each mission.

The gameplay reveal trailer puts players into Operation 627 with Alpha Team. As part of their mission, players are tasked with penetrating enemy operations while utilizing an array of tools such as night vision goggles and rope launchers. A notable highlight is when players initiate a prison riot within the gulag, taking place at night, forcing players to use the dark as cover.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is a significant chapter in the franchise's history, as it marks the first instance of launching a direct sequel in the year following its predecessor. Compelling characters like Captain Price and Simon "Ghost" Riley are returning, accompanied by Task Force 141, as they prepare to encounter the formidable Russian ultranationalist Vladimir Makarov.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Pre-Order and Early Access

Players can reserve their copies of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 through pre-orders. This allows for early access to the open beta as well as a week-long head start on the campaign, beginning on November 2. The official launch of MW3 is scheduled for November 10. Pre-ordering also unlocks the Soap operator bundle, which is currently available for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone. The game will be accessible on Xbox Series X & S, Xbox One, and PC platforms via Steam and Battle.net.
