Now, the fast-paced loot-focused shooter is getting an open beta that will share the chaos with anyone interested. Here’s how to join the The Finals open beta so you can start fighting for fame and fortune.

The Finals Open Beta Dates

The Finals open beta is actually already here. It starts on October 26 and will run until November 5, 2023.

Currently, developers have not shared any specific schedule, including down times for maintenance or otherwise, so we can only assume it’s available for the entirety of those 11 days. This gives players plenty of time to get the hang of the game and provide proper feedback based on their experiences.

The exact start and end times have not been revealed either.

Where Can You Play The Finals Open Beta

The Finals open beta is available for:

  • Xbox Series X | S
  • PlayStation 5
  • PC

It’s not available for older-generation consoles. If you have one of the previously listed systems, however, you can also enjoy cross-platform play. This means if you have a friend on PlayStation and you’re on PC, you can enjoy the open beta together.

How to Register For The Finals Open Beta

Registering for The Finals open beta is luckily very easy. All you have to do is head to the store on the platform you’re playing on. For example, PC players will need to open Steam.

From here, search for The Finals. Once you’re on its official page, press download. It’s a free game! Once the beta goes live, you’ll be able to open the game and enjoy.

What’s In The Finals Open Beta?

The Finals has a lot of new content available for the open beta. You’ll also see past favorites returning from the closed betas that were earlier this year.

Here’s what you can experience during the open beta:

  • ARENAS: Skyway Stadium (new), Monaco, Seoul
  • MODES: Bank-It (new), Unranked Tournament, Ranked Tournament, Quick Cash, Practice Range
  • CONTESTANT PROGRESSION: The free Open Beta BattlePass will include 16 exclusive rewards that, if unlocked, will be transferred to the full game at launch. Item progression will include 5 Mastery Levels per weapon
  • LEAGUE PROGRESSION: Five Leagues (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond) will include permanent rewards for each tier, along with an exclusive Legendary Diamond Weapon Skin reward for contestants who reach Diamond tier
  • GAMEPLAY CHANGES: The open beta will feature 20 Weapons, 26 Gadgets, and 9 abilities for contestants to choose from, as well as improvements to performance, movement, teamplay, and more
