Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 has been well-received thanks to the Coachella event and Attack on Titan skins. Unfortunately, Season 2 could be nearing its end and Fortnite players are already looking at Season 3. So here’s everything we know about the upcoming season.

When Is Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3?

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 came out on March 10 and recently reached its halfway point. Every season has lasted for about three months thus far. Based on Epic’s season pattern leading up to this point, the expected end date for Chapter 4 Season 2 is June 2, 2023.

This means that Chapter 4 Season 3 is predicted to come June 3 or June 4.

What’s Coming in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3?

To the surprise of many, there haven’t been a lot of leaks leading up to Season 3. This is out of character for the Fornite community, who has many well-known and trusted leakers and data miners who are rarely wrong. But here are some speculations leading up to the new season.

First, leaker ShiinaBR has been one of many voices stating that the next season will have a jungle theme. This jungle aesthetic will come with possible volcanic eruptions, a desert oasis area, and muddy surfaces to avoid.

This jungle biome was first introduced to Fortnite in Chapter 1 Season 8. Then in Chapter 2, the biome was located inside Stealthy Stronghold, allowing players to fight the Predator. It’s unclear where the possible jungle biome will be included this time around.

Volcanoes have also been featured on Fortnite’s map before. A volcano exploded in Season 8 as part of the Unvaulting Event, ultimately destroying Tilted Towers. Mud that slows players down is also not new.

Another possibility is a summer-inspired event. This has happened in past sunny seasons so it wouldn’t be too unheard of.

But will there be anything brand new to this season? Most likely but we don’t know just yet. One possibility has been a bit buzzed about, however.

The Fortnite player base has also been anxiously awaiting a first-person mode. This has been leaked quite some time ago but it has yet to be implemented. Some believe it will finally arrive in Chapter 4 Season 3.

On top of this, players should expect new crossover events with trending pop culture figures, shows, and movie heroes. New skins and a fresh battle pass is a given, but the cosmetics are still a secret.

For now, Chapter 4 Season 3 is one big mystery. Even the release date hasn’t been truly confirmed by Epic Games.
