Baldur's Gate 3 Speedrunner Romances Lae'zel in Under 8 Minutes
Everyone’s so creative! A prominent speedrunner has just broken another record in Baldur’s Gate 3, this time seeing how fast they can... become intimate with Lae’zel.
Mae recently broke the record for finishing Baldur’s Gate 3 in just over 10 minutes. The game usually takes people 100 hours or so, so this was definitely no easy feat. It took a lot of stealth, glitches, and skipped cutscenes. So what’s next for Mae?
The speedrunner decided to see how fast they could get some action in Baldur’s Gate 3, setting the world record at eight minutes. To be fair, there was not a lot of competition in this freaky category, but it still took a lot of finesse to pull off.
Romance is a big part of Baldur’s Gate 3. The game made headlines when people found out that the extensive character customization went as far as allowing you to pick your pubic hair and other private matters. This is because the game has a lot of nudity — unless you choose to block it. You can hook up with a lot of characters in the game, including party members.
How to Be a Pickup Artist in Baldur’s Gate 3
If you are looking for the fastest way to get some action in Baldur’s Gate 3, you can follow Mae’s advice. And don’t worry, this guide won’t cost you money or end up with you getting turned down in public.
First, build a wizard and use their Enhanced Leap to jump through the game. Use Mage Hand to interact with the transponder to end the battle on the nautiloid. Then rescue Lae’zel near the crash site, battle the goblins outside Emerald Grove, and then impress Lae’zel by convincing a tiefling to bow down to her.
This will lead to a late night hookup with Lae’zel, a scene that Mae skipped to not get in trouble with YouTube’s guidelines. You’ll have to play through the game yourself if you want to see this scene play out. Weirdo.
This is definitely a quickie, however. You finish the buildup and the sex itself in just 7:54 minutes.
“This was originally a five-hour endeavor, then two hours, then 20 minutes, and now eight minutes,” Mae said on YouTube. “Hoping it continues to go further down from here!”
The comments were full of Baldur’s Gate 3 players that were impressed at Mae’s ability to get Lae’zel to hook up so quickly. Some questioned how they could speedrun the process IRL, but that is not something that can be answered as easily.
What’s next for Mae after beating such a hot and heavy speedrun? Well… He is currently in the process of seeing just how fast he can bang a bear. Yep.
