Mike Vrabel Should Be Chargers' Top Coaching Candidate

Sean Salisbury shares his top candidates for the next head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers
In this story:

Sean Salisbury joined Matt "Money" Smith and Lorenzo Neal on the Bleav in Chargers podcast this week and was asked about who he thinks would be the best option to take over as the new head coach in Los Angeles.

"There is a name that I don't hear mentioned anywhere, and it is Mike Vrabel. I don't understand. I think he is perfect," said Salisbury. "I want a guy who has been kicked in the teeth, who understands players but doesn't let the players run the entire place because you got to know who is in charge. A guy who understands winning being in Tennessee with some lesser talent than other places."

Mike Vrabel was fired by the Titans this offseason, which surprised people around the National Football League. In five seasons as a head coach, he has a 56-48 record and won NFL Coach of the Year in 2021. Vrabel should be near the top of every team's list that is in the market for a new coach, even though he is not getting talked about like Bill Belichick, Pete Carroll, and Jim Harbaugh.
