Jefferson, Darrisaw, Hockenson remain limited on Vikings' Thursday injury report
Several key Vikings offensive players were, once again, limited participants in the team's Thursday practice ahead of a weekend clash with the Saints.
Justin Jefferson, T.J. Hockenson and Christian Darrisaw were limited Thursday for the Vikings. Jefferson continues to progress towards a return after a four-week absence with a hamstring injury, telling media Thursday: "I don't want to go out there 80-90 percent and have the chance of hurting it again."
Hockenson suffered a rib injury late in the Vikings' 31-28 win over the Falcons but told the media Thursday his plan is to play Sunday against the Saints. Darrisaw was a late scratch for the Falcons game and has been limited this week with a groin injury.
K.J. Osborn improved Thursday to limited status after not participating Wednesday. Osborn suffered a concussion after a scary hit in the second quarter in the Falcons game. Jaren Hall, like Osborn, remains in concussion protocol but was not able to practice Thursday. Harrison Smith was the only other player who did not practice Thursday as head coach Kevin O'Connell gave the veteran safety a rest day.
Brian Asamoah, Johnny Mundt and Dean Lowry were also listed as limited participants Thursday.
As for the Saints their injury report remains the same as Wednesday, with depth defensive end Isaiah Foskey and third-string running back Kendre Miller not participating.
Star linebacker Demario Davis (knee) was among three Saints listed as full participants with an injury designation. Fullback Adam Prentice (knee) and linebacker Ty Summers (hamstring) were also full participants on the Saints injury report.
Minnesota host New Orleans this Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium with kickoff set for noon.
