UPDATE: Anthony Davis' Current Injury Status For Pelicans-Lakers Game

Anthony Davis is on the injury report for Friday's game.

On Friday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers and New Orleans Pelicans will face off in California.   

For the game, 2020 NBA Champion Anthony Davis is listed as questionable on the injury report.

Davis has played in 49 games and is averaging 24.8 points, 12.2 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.4 blocks per contest while shooting 55.3% from the field and 28.3% from the three-point range.   

The Lakers have a 27-26 record in 53 games, which has them as the ninth seed in the Western Conference.  

They are 6-4 over their last ten games and had been in the middle of a three-game winning streak before losing to the Denver Nuggets by a score of 114-106. 

Davis had 32 points, nine rebounds, three assists, three steals and four blocks while shooting 14/27 from the field and 0/3 from the three-point range in 38 minutes of playing time. 

Following New Orleans, the Lakers will remain in Los Angeles to host the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday evening. 

Meanwhile, the Pelicans have a 30-21 record in 51 games, which has them as the sixth seed in the Western Conference.  

They are in the middle of a four-game winning streak and have gone 6-4 over their previous ten games.  

In their most recent game, the Pelicans beat the Los Angeles Clippers by a score of 117-106, and CJ McCollum led the way with 25 points. 

On Saturday evening, they will visit the Portland Trail Blazers in Oregon.
