UPDATE: Anthony Edwards' Current Injury Status For Timberwolves-Trail Blazers Game

Anthony Edwards is on the injury report for Thursday's game.

On Thursday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves will be in Oregon for a matchup with the Portland Trail Blazers.  

For the game, they could be without their best player, as All-Star guard Anthony Edwards is on the injury report.

Edwards has played in 51 games and is averaging 26.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 46.8% from the field and 38.5% from the three-point range.  

The Timberwolves are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 38-16 record in 54 games. 

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and are 7-3 over their last ten games. 

Most recently, the Timberwolves beat the Trail Blazers (also in Oregon) by a score of 121-109. 

Edwards was fantastic and put up 41 points, four rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block while shooting 16/27 from the field and 4/8 from the three-point range in 34 minutes of playing time. 

Following the Trail Blazers, the Timberwolves will host Damian Lillard and the Milwaukee bucks on February 23. 

As for the Trail Blazers, they are the 14th seed in the Western Conference with a 15-38 record in 53 games. 

They are in the middle of a five-game losing streak and are 3-7 over their last ten games. 

Following the Timberwolves, the Trail Blazers will host the Denver Nuggets on February 23.
